The Abbey is part of West Haven development in Davenport, a perfect peaceful location from which to visit the attractions Florida has on offer. Davenport is a small but growing city popular with tourists visiting theme parks but it also has many of its own attractions and regular local events and festivals.
The I4 and Highway 192 are minutes away which make it an ideal location for your stay if you are visiting Disney World, which is only a 10 minute drive, Seaworld only 15 minutes, and Universal Studios, only 25 minutes away. There are other theme parks, including Legoland Florida within a half hours journey.
If you like to dine out, there are many restaurants to choose from, including local eateries, bars and pubs plus well known fast food chain outlets. For shoppers, there are several large retail centres within easy reach at Orlando, Kissimmee and Tampa. Add to this cinema, a water park and many golf courses, including the Champions Gate Golf Course designed by Greg Norman and you will have plenty to keep you occupied.
Slightly further afield, you can visit Busch Gardens or about an hour away, pay a visit to the Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral or the many seaside towns and beautiful beaches on the Gulf Coast or East Coast.
